Yes, Vatee is regulated by two authorities: the Australian Securities & Investment Commission (ASIC) and the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission (VFSC). Personally, I find the ASIC regulation reassuring as it’s one of the most respected regulatory bodies in the world. ASIC ensures that brokers adhere to strict guidelines, which is important for protecting traders. However, the VFSC’s offshore license is less reassuring. While it adds an extra layer of legitimacy, offshore regulation is not always as reliable as major jurisdictions. I would say Vatee is relatively safe, but the offshore license is something I’d keep in mind when deciding how much risk I'm comfortable with.
