As a trader concerned with both transparency and minimizing trading costs, I always make it a point to thoroughly vet the fee structures of any broker. With DEGUSSA, I faced a significant challenge on this front. Based on my research and the information available, DEGUSSA’s fee structure—including specific details about swap fees or overnight financing costs—is notably unclear. This lack of clarity is a red flag for me, because knowing exactly what I’m being charged is essential for careful risk and cost management, especially if I’m holding positions overnight. In contrast, most reputable, regulated brokers clearly publish their swap rates or financing costs, allowing for straightforward comparison and informed decision-making. The fact that DEGUSSA is unregulated further limits my confidence, as there’s no oversight to ensure they uphold basic transparency standards that I would ordinarily expect in the industry. Without a clear presentation of these costs, I simply can’t make a fair or meaningful comparison to other brokers I’ve used, whose swap fees are easy to find and verify. For me, the combination of an unregulated status and a vague fee structure makes it difficult to trust DEGUSSA with my overnight trading activities. I would need to see explicit, detailed information about their swap fees before even considering them alongside well-established, regulated brokers. Ultimately, I prioritize brokers who are upfront about all costs and subject to credible supervision, to protect both my capital and peace of mind.
