As an experienced trader who values both flexibility and platform reliability, I’ve studied the infrastructure that SBI SECURITIES offers quite closely. From my findings, it’s important to note that SBI SECURITIES relies primarily on its proprietary systems—both web-based and through apps like HYPER SBI—which are tailored for multi-asset manual trading but do not natively support popular third-party platforms such as MT4 or MT5. This limitation is especially relevant for anyone who, like me, depends on Expert Advisors (EAs) or other forms of algorithmic trading. Because their platforms are self-developed, there’s no standard interface available for uploading or running custom EAs, which is typically a core feature on more internationally-oriented brokers with MT4/MT5 integration. Their quantitative strategy tools are mentioned, but from what I can see, these appear to be quite specialized and likely come with a steeper learning curve—definitely less accessible than the plug-and-play EAs most retail traders are accustomed to. This means if automated trading is non-negotiable in your trading routine, SBI SECURITIES may not fit your needs efficiently. For my own workflow, this presents a significant constraint, as I prefer the option to automate my strategies directly through well-known trading systems. Therefore, based on current information and my experience, the opportunity to use custom EAs with SBI SECURITIES is presently not available, and this is a point that prospective traders relying on automation should consider carefully.
