In my experience as a forex trader, determining the total trading costs on GMO-Z.com for indices like the US100 is quite challenging due to a significant lack of transparency from the broker. From the data available, GMO-Z.com claims to offer competitive spreads and industry-standard platforms, which initially seemed promising to me. However, there is a consistent red flag raised by multiple user reports regarding hidden or unexpected fees, particularly surrounding withdrawals and so-called “individual taxes” demanded before funds can be released. While the broker is regulated in Hong Kong by the SFC, the official website is currently inaccessible, making it impossible for me to independently verify their fee structure, spread levels, or potential commissions for index trading. Users also mention issues with slippage and wider-than-expected spreads, and some have been subject to additional fees not clearly outlined upfront. For me, the inability to access transparent cost information—alongside reports of funds being withheld—makes it very difficult to reliably estimate the all-in costs of trading indices like the US100 here. Until GMO-Z.com significantly improves disclosure and resolves these withdrawal-related risks, I would be extremely hesitant to trade or recommend this broker, regardless of their advertised pricing.
