As an experienced forex trader, I find that one of my priorities in evaluating any broker is understanding the transparency and competitiveness of their spreads, particularly on majors like EUR/USD. When it comes to uSMART Group, based on my own review of their publicly available information, I noticed that they do not openly advertise a standard spread for EUR/USD or other forex pairs. Instead, their fee structure seems to focus more on stocks and options, with explicit commission and platform fee breakdowns for equities and US options. The lack of published spread figures for forex is noteworthy for me, as it can make it difficult to gauge true trading costs upfront. In my experience, transparency around spreads is vital for effective cost management and risk assessment. The absence of clear spread data means I would need to contact their support directly or conduct live trading to observe real-time spreads on the uSMART platform. For a forex trader, this could feel limiting compared to brokers that post fixed or typical spreads directly on their websites. While I recognize that uSMART Group is regulated and strives to comply with MAS’s standards, the lack of explicit spread information on EUR/USD means I have to approach trading costs cautiously. Reliable brokers, in my view, are clear about these details upfront, and this is something I always weigh seriously before opening an account or trading larger volumes.
