In my experience with Options AI, the commission structure differs quite noticeably from the typical per-lot or per-contract fees I’ve seen with many forex brokers. Options AI uses a flat commission arrangement—meaning instead of paying a fee per lot or contract, I am charged a straightforward $5 per trade, regardless of the trade's size or complexity. This applies to options trades, whether I’m executing single-leg or multi-leg strategies. For stock trades, the commission is set at $1 per trade. It's important to note, however, that Options AI does not offer what I’d traditionally recognize as ECN or raw spread accounts common in the forex world. Instead, their platform is tailored more toward options and stock trading rather than forex CFDs, and integrates with existing brokerage platforms instead of offering their own standalone infrastructure. While the flat fee model certainly simplifies transaction cost calculations for me, it’s still my responsibility to be aware of standard regulatory, exchange, and clearing fees, which will be added to the flat commission. Ultimately, while I find the transparency of the fee structure appealing, I always recommend factoring in these additional costs when planning trades, and I make sure to understand any fees from the underlying brokerage platform as well. This focus on clarity helps safeguard my trading capital and supports prudent risk management.
