Based on my close inspection of CAPITAL’s available funding and withdrawal options, I noted several important points that directly impact my willingness to use their services. For deposits, CAPITAL supports traditional payment methods, specifically cash, check, and ATM/online bank transfers. The broker lists HSBC and Bank of China as their primary channels, and payments can be made in Hong Kong dollars, US dollars, and Chinese yuan. They also allow third-party deposits under certain conditions, but require clear documentation for compliance. When it comes to withdrawals, I found that CAPITAL offers check withdrawals and wire transfers only. However, check withdrawals do not support third-party withdrawals or cashing checks at the counter, which limits some flexibility. Processing times for both deposits and withdrawals are fairly standard for the region, but hinge on the time instructions are received each business day. Notably, I could not find any support for payment options such as credit cards, PayPal, Skrill, or any form of cryptocurrencies. For me as a trader, this lack of modern e-wallets or card processing is a limitation, especially compared to more internationally oriented brokers. In my view, relying strictly on bank-related transactions may offer transparency and regulatory oversight, given the SFC’s involvement, but it does not meet the convenience expectations common in today’s trading landscape. Anyone considering CAPITAL should evaluate whether these traditional funding methods fit well with their trading workflows and financial plans.
