Speaking from my own experience as a trader, when evaluating NinjaTrader for forex trading—specifically regarding spread levels like the typical spread for EUR/USD—I found the information presented to be somewhat lacking in clarity. NinjaTrader, according to my research and hands-on use, is primarily structured for trading futures contracts rather than spot forex pairs. The details available focus mainly on index, cryptocurrency, metal, and energy futures, with a significant emphasis on commission rates per futures contract rather than forex spreads. There’s no direct mention of EUR/USD spreads, which is essential for making informed cost comparisons as a forex trader. This absence of clear, transparent data on standard account spreads for major forex pairs is a concern I take seriously. Additionally, the broker’s regulatory status appears questionable, having been flagged as a “Suspicious Clone” despite an NFA listing, which further reinforces my caution. For me, not being able to verify exact average spreads for pairs like EUR/USD means I would not be comfortable risking capital here, especially when other brokers provide explicit forex cost structures. Until transparency and regulatory confidence improve, I would urge any trader to approach forex trading with NinjaTrader with care and conduct significant due diligence elsewhere.
