The year 2025 has been consistently unfavorable for trading, with gains and losses always ending up in the inevitable curse of losing money in the end. While focusing on trading, I also had to guard against various underhanded tactics by the platform. Small retail traders like me have a very tough time surviving. I decided to find a new platform and try my luck elsewhere. By chance, I added a DLSM account manager on WeChat and learned about DLSM. I searched for information about the platform on third-party websites—it claimed to have been established over a decade ago with high ratings. Only later did I realize that data was bought, and the platform had actually been around for just over two years. Still, I decided to open an account and give it a try. Trusting the account manager, I registered as an agent and then opened a trading account through the agent, allowing me to earn extra commission income from my own trades. I deposited a total of 32,000 USDT. On April 23, I opened three short positions on gold, hoping to profit from a downward trend, close the positions, and then go long. However, gold rebounded, and my long positions hit the stop-loss. On April 24, I opened four long positions on gold, as the overall trend was bullish. The rebound from the stop-loss on the 23rd was strong, so I switched to long positions. Later, the account manager contacted me, saying my trading was abnormal and demanding I close my positions. On April 23, when I was losing money, they said my orders were fine. But on April 24, when my long positions generated a small profit, they suddenly claimed my orders were problematic and forced me to close them. When I asked what the issue was, the account manager said I was using an Alibaba Cloud server for trading and that my gold trades resembled those of another profitable client. Despite repeated explanations, they refused to listen. Since my long positions’ profits could cover my earlier losses, I closed them. Deep down, I felt DLSM was unreliable and decided to withdraw my funds and quit. But when I tried to withdraw, the system notified me that my account had been deactivated—my MT4 login no longer worked, and all data was gone. I quickly took screenshots of the MT4 transaction logs; otherwise, with my 30,000+ USD deposit gone, I’d have no evidence if DLSM denied everything. In total, I only executed seven trades. I recorded the transaction details in an Excel sheet. Out of the seven trades, the first three were losses, while the last four generated some profit. My holding periods were all over five hours—if not for the platform forcing me to close, I might have held them for days or weeks. What was wrong with these trades? The platform never provided any proof of wrongdoing, relying solely on their word. By late May, after repeatedly submitting all kinds of relevant and irrelevant documents to DLSM, they finally relented—but demanded I handwrite a statement admitting to no longer using 'violative trading' before allowing withdrawals. They wanted me to confess to baseless accusations and send them a handwritten and photographed declaration. Finally, after over a month of anxiety, DLSM returned my principal in early June—but the $2,537 profit in my account was nowhere to be found.
