The Financial Supervision Authority, which was launched on 1 January 2002, joined the functions of Eesti Pank's Banking Supervision Authority and the Ministry of Finance's Insurance Supervision Authority and Securities Inspectorate. It is a financial supervision and crisis resolution authority with autonomous responsibilities and budget that works on behalf of the state of Estonia and is independent in its decision-making.

Nimetatud ettevõte pakub makseteenust Saint Vincent ja Grenadiinide äriühingule Horizons LTD (https://www.marketssoft.com), kusjuures Finantsinspektsioon pole väljastanud Horizons LTD-le ühtegi tegevusluba, nagu on eksitavalt väidetud kõnealuse isiku veebilehel, ning tal puudub õigus Eestis investeerimisteenuste osutamiseks. Nimekiri ettevõtetest, kellel on lubatud Eestis makse- ja investeerimisteenuseid osutada, on leitav Finantsinspektsiooni kodulehelt http://www.fi.ee. Information on Horizons Ventures OÜ 18.06.2019 Finantsinspektsioon (the Estonian Financial Supervisory Authority) would like to inform the public that Horizons Ventures OÜ (registry code 14643552) does not hold an activity licence for the provision of payment services in Estonia and therefore Horizons Ventures OÜ is not authorised to provide payment services in Estonia. The company offers payment services to a Saint Vincent and the Grenadines’ company Horizons LTD (https://www.marketssoft.com), whereas Finantsinspektsioon has not issued any licences to the latter, as has been misleadingly claimed on the person´s web page, and it lacks the right to provide investment services in Estonia. The list of companies authorised to provide payment and investment services in Estonia can be found on Finantsinspektsioon’s web page http://www.fi.ee.
