The Financial markets Authority (FMA) is a New Zealand government agency responsible for enforcing securities, financial reporting and company law as they apply to financial services and securities markets. The FMA also regulates securities exchanges, financial advisers and brokers, auditors, trustees and issuers - including issuers of KiwiSaver and superannuation schemes. It jointly oversees designated settlement systems in New Zealand, with the Reserve Bank of New Zealand (RBNZ). FMA is a member of New Zealand’s Council of Financial Regulators.

13 December 2023 Bronte FX - Imposter website SHARE THIS We recommend caution when dealing with Bronte FX Limited and associated companies. Bronte FX Limited offers investments in products ranging from cryptocurrencies to forex commodities, but it is not registered to provide financial services in New Zealand. It falsely claims to be a registered company in New Zealand, using the address and business registration details of another company, Bronte Investments Limited. A representative of Bronte Investments Limited has confirmed that their company is not associated with this website. We have received a complaint that Bronte FX Limited is unreasonably withholding funds. Bronte FX Limited referred the complainant to Recoup Regal for the retrieval of their funds. We are concerned that Recoup Regal is operating a recovery scam, where victims of previous scams are asked to pay fees in an attempt to get their money returned.
