The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) was established in accordance with section 5 of the Securities and Exchange Commission (Establishment and Responsibilities) Law of 2001 as a public legal entity. It is an independent public supervisory Authority responsible for the supervision of the investment services market, transactions in transferable securities carried out in the Republic of Cyprus and the collective investment and asset management sector. It also supervises the firms offering administrative services which do not fall under the supervision of ICPAC and the Cyprus Bar Association.

WARNING
The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (‘CySEC’) wishes to inform investors
that the website smartoptionfx.com, does not belong to an entity which has been
granted an authorization for the provision of investment services and/or the
performance of investment activities, as provided for in Article 5 of Law 87 (I)/2017.
In the above mentioned website, there is a reference on the name and license number
of the former Cyprus Investment Firm B.O. Tradefinancials Ltd (license number
216/13). CySEC wishes to draw your attention that, on 25.6.2018, it has decided to
wholly withdraw the Cyprus Investment Firm authorisation with number CIF 216/13 of
the company B.O. Tradefinancials Ltd.
CySEC urges investors to consult its website (www.cysec.gov.cy), before conducting
business with investment firms, in order to ascertain the entities which are licensed to
provide investment services and/or investment activities.
