Reasons for Field Survey

Hong Kong, as an international financial center, has a highly internationalized and liberalized forex market with a variety of trading products and numerous participating entities, holding a vital position in the global forex market. Its forex market activity and influence attract the attention of global investors. In order to help investors gain a deeper understanding of the actual situation of forex brokers in the Hong Kong region, the survey team went to Hong Kong for a field visit.

Field Survey Process

For this survey, the team planned to visit the HKIFS, a forex broker in Hong Kong. The publicly available information shows that its office address is 23F, China Resources Building, 26 Harbour Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong.

The experienced survey team, with a strong sense of responsibility to strictly supervise for investors, went to Hong Kong according to the planned route and carried out a field visit to the broker HKIFS.

Surveyors arrived at the China Resources Building located at 26 Harbour Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong, to carry out an on-site check of the broker HKIFS, which claimed to be located on the 23rd floor of this building.

Surveyors arrived smoothly at the China Resources Building. The building is in a good surrounding environment, close to the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center, with heavy pedestrian traffic and a strong commercial atmosphere. Surveyors successfully took a panoramic view of the building. However, no logo or signage related to the HKIFS was found on the exterior of the building.

Surveyors attempted to enter the lobby of the building but were unsuccessful. Unable to enter the lobby, they could not check whether the name of the HKIFS was listed on the directory in the lobby, and they also couldnt see the company's logo inside the building.

Despite being unable to enter the lobby, the surveyors managed to reach the 23rd floor by other means. However, there was no trace of the HKIFS on this floor. As the company does not exist, the surveyors naturally could not enter the inside, cannot take photos of the reception desk and its logo, and know nothing about its internal office environment.

As a result, the survey confirmed that the broker HKIFS does not exist at the aforementioned address.

Field Survey Summary

The surveyors went to Hong Kong as planned to visit the forex broker HKIFS. They couldn't find the company name or any other related information at the public business address given by the broker, indicating that HKIFS lacks a real place of operations. It is suggested that investors make choices after comprehensive consideration.
