Reasons for Field Survey

Hong Kong, being an international financial center, is home to one of the most significant forex markets globally. Characterized by high internationalization, active trading, and strict regulation, it holds a pivotal position in global forex trading. To assist investors in gaining a comprehensive and precise understanding of forex brokers in this region, the surveyors conducted field surveys in Hong Kong.

Field Survey Process

This time, the inspection team traveled to Hong Kong as planned to conduct an on-site visit to the forex broker Sun Hung Kai Properties. Publicly available information lists its office address as “42/F., Lee Garden One, 33 Hysan Avenue, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong.”

The professional and experienced inspection team, driven by a sense of responsibility to ensure strict investor safety, followed a carefully crafted plan and traveled to Hong Kong. Based on the aforementioned address, they conducted an on-site visit to Sun Hung Kai Properties.

Based on the address information, the inspection team traveled to Causeway Bay and conducted an on-site verification of the brokerage, which claimed to be located at “42/F., Lee Garden One, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong.”

The inspection team successfully arrived at their target building, Lee Garden One. Located in the heart of Causeway Bay, Hong Kong, the surrounding area is bustling with commercial activity, featuring numerous high-rise buildings and a vibrant commercial atmosphere. The exterior of the building was clean and tidy, exuding the grandeur of a high-end commercial building. However, no Sun Hung Kai Properties logos or related information were found. The surveyors entered the building lobby, which was exquisitely decorated and clean. After explaining their purpose to the on-site staff and briefly communicating, they were granted permission to proceed to their target floor.

Upon arrival at the 42nd floor, the surveyors carefully inspected the area and found no obvious Sun Hung Kai signage. Their observation confirmed that this floor was in fact the office area of Hermès Hong Kong, with Hermès-related office signs and elements visible throughout. Since this floor was designated as an exclusive office area and the surveyors had not obtained permission to enter the Sun Hung Kai office area, and since no Sun Hung Kai office area actually existed, they were unable to enter the alleged Sun Hung Kai office space.

Looking through the public areas of the floor, the surveyors further observed that the entire 42nd floor office environment belonged to Hermès Hong Kong, with no trace of Sun Hung Kai's presence, completely contradicting Sun Hung Kai's claims of operating at the location.

Thus, the survey confirmed that the dealer, Sun Hung Kai, did not exist at the aforementioned address.

Field Survey Summary

The surveyors visited the Forex broker SUNHUNGKAI as planned. They could not find the broker's company name and other information at its publicly displayed business place, indicating that the broker does not have a real business location. Investors are advised to consider this information comprehensively before making decisions.
