In my experience as an independent forex trader, I always make it a top priority to assess the regulatory standing and reliability of any broker before considering the use of advanced tools like Expert Advisors (EAs). When I looked into Pocket Trade, I noticed several concerning factors that heavily influence my willingness to engage in automated trading with them. Primarily, Pocket Trade operates without valid regulatory oversight—it has no authentic licensing, and their regulatory status is described as "suspicious," with an associated high potential risk. For me, this lack of credible supervision presents a significant red flag, especially when considering strategies that rely on EAs, which often require uninterrupted platform integrity and reliable fund safety. Even though the technical question of whether EAs can be used might seem straightforward—most modern platforms do support EAs—my main concern is whether it's actually safe to deploy such strategies with a broker that scores so low on regulatory and risk management indices. The potential for poor order execution, withdrawal issues, or even outright malpractice is higher with unregulated brokers, which is why I personally avoid entrusting my automated strategies or capital to such firms. Ultimately, while EAs may technically work if the platform allows it, for me, the much more critical question is whether it is sensible or safe to do so with Pocket Trade given its current operational and regulatory situation. I believe caution is absolutely warranted.
