In my experience as a forex trader always seeking reliable automation options, one of my first considerations with any broker is the compatibility and viability of Expert Advisors (EAs) for automated trading. With RICO, I see that they do offer MetaTrader 5 among their supported platforms, and this is noteworthy because MT5 is widely recognized for supporting algorithmic trading through EAs. However, I am particularly careful about the broader context with RICO. The broker is not regulated, carrying a high potential risk and even explicit warnings about the lack of valid regulatory oversight. For me, this sharply impacts trust, especially when considering running automated strategies where outflows can occur quickly and oversight is minimal. Although it appears technically possible to deploy EAs within MetaTrader 5 on RICO, I would caution anyone—myself included—to evaluate whether the absence of regulatory safeguards is acceptable given the risks inherent to both forex and algorithmic trading. Regulation is important to me, as it can provide dispute resolution mechanisms and some baseline assurance of operational standards. So, while the technical infrastructure for EAs is present on one of RICO’s platforms, I personally would be very conservative about employing automated strategies here due to the overall risk profile and lack of transparency. Ultimately, safety and the ability to trust a broker with my funds and strategies outweigh convenience features like EA compatibility.
