However, one time, while trading British pounds, I tapped my finger, and the system defaulted to placing three lots—two more than I expected. I checked and realized that the lot size I had set previously hadn't been reset, and the default had been retained. Fortunately, I canceled the order in time and didn't lose much. Now, I always glance at the lot size before placing an order—it's become a good habit.
