As someone who has traded extensively across a variety of brokers and asset classes, I approach Grand Capital with heightened caution, especially when it comes to understanding their trading costs on indices like the US100. Transparency regarding fees is fundamental to prudent trading, and in my review of Grand Capital, I found a notable lack of clear, accessible information about trading costs—this already raises a red flag for me. Unlike many reputable brokers, Grand Capital does not provide explicit details regarding spreads or commissions for indices on its website or through its available documentation. This makes it exceedingly difficult for a trader like myself to accurately calculate the total costs of executing trades. Furthermore, I observed that the user reviews and analysis highlight the absence of the widely-used MT4 or MT5 platforms, which usually make tracking fees and slippage simpler. Instead, the necessity to use unfamiliar proprietary platforms adds an additional layer of uncertainty regarding fee structure and reliability of quoted prices. What further concerns me is the performance data indicating poor average slippage and transaction speed, which, in practice, could mean that actual trading costs may be considerably higher than market norms due to execution delays and unfavorable price movements. In my experience, these “hidden” costs can significantly impact the profitability of index trading, sometimes more so than stated commissions. Given Grand Capital’s unverified regulatory status and unclear fee structure, I would personally be very cautious. For me, unless a broker provides transparent, detailed information about all components of trading costs—spreads, commissions, rollover rates, and slippage—I consider the total cost assessment incomplete and potentially risky. I would recommend extreme diligence and perhaps seeking a broker with clearer regulation and cost disclosures for something as active and margin-sensitive as trading the US100.
