Abstract:Vault Markets, a South African-based broker, has attracted much attention in recent days, particularly within its region. This online broker only offers access to focused trading opportunities on Indices, Currencies, Energies, and Metals, yet it shines on low minimum deposits plus various bonus programmes, which would encourage more investors, especially beginners, to trade with a small budget. However, Vault Markets operates outside of the authorized scope, so we don't consider it solid to trade with.

What is Vault Markets?
Vault Markets, a South African-based broker, has attracted much attention in recent days, particularly within its region. This online broker only offers access to focused trading opportunities on Indices, Currencies, Energies, and Metals, yet it shines on low minimum deposits plus various bonus programs which would encourage more investors, especially beginners, to trade with a small budget. However, Vault Markets operates outside of the authorized scope, so we don't consider it solid to trade with.

Is Vault Markets Legit?
VaultMarkets (Pty) Ltd, who owns Vault Markets, claims that it is a product of the FSCA-regulated entity - RocketX (Pty) Ltd. However, verification confirmed, this broker operates without any regulation at all. Instead, the truth that Vault Markets tries to pose as a legitmate broker to mislead investors become more clear.

Vault Markets - Tracking Its Unethical Practice
- Vault Markets was established in 2021 in South Africa, and from the very beginning of its establishment, Vault Markets claimed that it is a product of the FSCA-regulated entity - RocketX (Pty) Ltd, posing as a legitimate broker to mislead innocent investors.
- In May 2022, WikiFX classified Vault Markets as unregulated after conducting a field verification, and the registered address provided by this broker is fake.
Vault Markets - Some Concerning Features to Consider
Extremely Low Minimum Deposit
Vault Markets require an extremely low minimum deposit, a feature that, while seemingly encouraging, is not necessarily good news for beginners. Although few deposits mean few risks and low deposits make trading accessible, in the traditional sense, larger risks cannot be ignored. More specifically, small-budget trading can be easily emotional and excessive as beginners don't have sufficient trading experience, and proper trading plans. Anyway, Vault Markets, this unregulated broker, just uses the tactic to lure more investors.
Vrious Bonus Programs
Vault Markets promotes enticing bonus programs, offering bonuses from 100% to 250%. However, these large bonuses are virtual funds, purely intended to attract inexperienced investors. They often contribute to trading losses, as they can encourage risky behavior. In contrast, regulated and reputable brokers do not offer such high bonuses due to regulatory constraints.
Excessive Leverage
Vault Markets offers leverage up to 1000:1, extremely high. Investors, both novices and experienced traders ( high-frequency traders, Scalpers) are encouraged by high leverage at first, especially the former. However, when they calm down, the higher risks of using high leverage can be easily discovered. When you trade with leverage, your losses can be amplified without employing proper risk management.
Vault Markets Accounts
Vault Markets Minimum Deposit
Vault Markets require very low minimum deposits, particularly with their Micro account, which requires a minimal R10 deposit (roughly $0.54 USD). Most accounts at Vault Markets begin with a modest $5, while two unique accounts, the Islamic account and the Zero Spread account, have a higher initial deposit requirement of $100.
Like many local brokers in South Africa, Vault Markets employs the typical strategy of low minimum deposits and large bonuses to attract new investors, especially inexperienced investors. However, we should consider the fact that low deposits can lead to overtrading.

Vault Markets Accounts
We consider Vault Markets offering the most trading account options, a total of 11 types, with five of those accounts featuring large bonuses.
Bonus Accounts
The VAULT 200% Bonus account comes with a 200% bonus on deposits starting at $5, offers 1 pip spreads, and lets traders access indices, currencies, energies, and metals through MT4. The VAULT 100% Bonus account provides a 100% bonus with the same $5 minimum deposit and 1:500 leverage.
For traders interested in the MT5 platform, the VAULT 250 Bonus account offers a 250% bonus with a $5 minimum deposit while maintaining 1:500 leverage and spreads from 1 pip.
Besides, Vault Markets sets micro accounts for traders with smaller capital. The Micro Bonus 100 and Micro Bonus 200 accounts start with R50 (South African Rand) deposits and include 100% and 200% bonuses respectively, both with 1:500 leverage on MT4 and MT5.

Though these bonus-based accounts appear attractive, it should be noted that bonus funds typically have withdrawal restrictions or minimum trading volume requirements that would encourage excessive trading.
Specialized Accounts
The VAULT SWAP-FREE account serves Islamic traders who need trading without swap fees, requiring a $100 minimum deposit with 1:500 leverage.
Traders looking for tighter spreads might consider the VAULT ZEROSPREAP account, which has spreads starting from 0 pips on indices. This account requires a $100 minimum deposit and comes with 1:500 leverage on MT4.
The Vault No Stop Out account allows trading without standard stop-out protection and requires only a $5 deposit on MT5.
For those wanting higher leverage, the VAULT 1:1000 Leverage account offers 1:1000 leverage with a $5 minimum deposit and spreads from 1 pip across various instruments.

Micro and Standard Trading Option
The VAULT MICRO account has the lowest entry point at R10, particularly encouraging for beginners. For traders who prefer trading without bonuses, the VAULT NO BONUS account offers standard trading with a $5 minimum deposit, 1:500 leverage, and spreads from 1 pip across all instrument categories.

Unfortuantely, Vault Markets does not offer a demo account.

Vault Markets boasts no minimum deposit or withdrawal amounts, enabling flexible transactions, but R10 is required to open a Vault Micro account. Withdrawal is allowed anytime on the Vault Markets, but you will encounter some waiting time during its verification step due to its lack of regulation. Although Vault Markets advertise “Instant withdrawal”, the actual withdrawal time is much longer than you imagine. Vault Markets does not impose fees on deposits or withdrawals, but payment providers will apply their own fees.

How to withdraw funds from Vault Markets?
Withdrawals at Vault Markets, as per its instructions, seemingly involve no complex work.
Step 1: Login into “ My Account”
Step 2: Click the “Withdraw” on the left panel of your account dashboard. Enter your desired amount and Click the “Submit Request” Step 3: Select your desired bank account or e-wallet.
Step 4: Click the “Withdraw” to complete the whole withdrawal request process.

Maximum Withdrawal Time: Maximum Withdrawal Time: Vault Markets advertises “Instant Withdrawal”, and once again, it promises that withdrawals are generally processed instantly once your trading account is verified and approved. However, in reality, it takes a much longer time for your withdrawal, even with e-wallet providers.
I tested the withdrawal at Vault Markets on 07 February 2025 via Perfect Money, and I have waited over 3 days for them to verify my account and another 4 days to get back my money. They explained the verification delays as a necessary security measure to protect my funds.
More User Reviews on Vault Markets Withdrawal

This trader posted that Vault Markets is intentionally withholding their funds, providing fabricated excuses to avoid payouts. They claim that while small withdrawals were initially processed, larger withdrawal requests have been met with resistance and eventual silence from the company. The trader strongly advises against using Vault Markets, warning of potential financial losses and regret.

This trader expresses extreme anger and frustration with Vault Markets. They accuse the broker of slow withdrawal processing, contrasting it with the rapid acceptance of deposits. The trader strongly advises against using Vault Markets, stating their negative experiences are firsthand and not generic, and warning others not to trust the broker with their funds.
Is Vault Markets a good broker?
Obviously, Vault Markets is not a good forex broker for most investors, I mean beginners and inexperienced traders. Set its low minimum deposit and generous bonuses aside, we need to face the truth that this broker operates outside of the regulatory framework. Clearly, trading with unregulated forex brokers will expose funds to risk. For more mature traders who want to pursue a more flexible trading environment, they may find Vault Markets attractive at first. Besides, Vault Markets does not shine on its trading costs, and the experienced group of traders soon will consider other options.
Firstly, their regulatory oversight is questionable, exposing your funds to risk. While they promote competitive spreads and swift withdrawals, traders frequently report higher-than-advertised costs and significant delays in receiving their funds. Compounding these issues, customer support often proves unreliable, particularly during withdrawal attempts. Furthermore, the broker's exceptionally high bonus offers, ranging from 100% to 250%, should raise suspicion, as these often entail stringent trading requirements that restrict access to your capital. Given these regulatory ambiguities, hidden expenses, withdrawal difficulties, and potentially misleading bonus schemes, exploring alternative, more transparent, and duly regulated brokers is advisable.
