As an experienced trader, I approached CEZ Hungary out of curiosity, given their presence as a Hungarian branch of the larger CEZ Group. However, in my personal investigation, it became immediately clear that CEZ Hungary is not a typical forex or CFD broker and does not cater to individual traders like myself. Instead, their services are strictly targeted at large corporate clients with exceptionally high annual electricity consumption—specifically, companies using over 15 GWh annually. From what I could gather, CEZ Hungary facilitates custom electricity procurement contracts, hedging, and risk management, rather than offering any form of retail trading account or typical margin-based instruments that most traders would expect. There is no published information on a minimum deposit or account size for trading forex or other instruments, simply because such accounts do not exist with them. The concept of a "minimum amount" applies here only in the context of energy contracts for substantial industrial clients, far beyond the reach or needs of individual investors or small businesses. Additionally, the lack of regulatory oversight raises serious caution flags for anyone considering any type of financial engagement, let alone retail speculation. For me, the absence of retail account offerings and the lack of regulation means CEZ Hungary is not suitable or accessible for standard trading purposes.
