From my own in-depth experience and careful research as a trader, I can confirm that CMB offers three main trading platforms: Yat Lung Global, SP Trader, and Multicharts. Over the years, I’ve observed that these platforms cater primarily to clients trading stocks, options, and futures, with accessibility across desktop and mobile devices. Personally, I found these platforms suitable for the range of products CMB offers, though it’s important to highlight that they are not the major forex-focused platforms many traders might expect. When I assessed CMB’s suite, I noticed there is no support for MetaTrader 4 (MT4), MetaTrader 5 (MT5), or cTrader. This was a critical consideration for me, as these platforms are industry standards in the forex world, known for their flexibility, wide broker integration, algorithmic trading support, and extensive community resources. Their absence suggests that CMB is not tailored to traders seeking a traditional forex experience or the advanced analytical features and automation these platforms provide. For me, platform choice is fundamental due to user-friendliness, charting tools, and integration capabilities. Because CMB sticks with its proprietary and partner platforms—and excludes MT4/MT5/cTrader—it's best suited to those focusing on Asian stock, future, or options markets rather than global spot forex or automated trading on MT4/MT5. Anyone with specific platform needs should weigh this carefully before committing.
