Drawing from my direct study of LUKFOOK’s offerings, I found their payment and withdrawal procedures to be more traditional than many modern brokers. However, when it comes to withdrawals, immediate options are noticeably absent. LUKFOOK supports cheque withdrawal, CHATS (the Hong Kong Clearing House Automated Transfer System), and standard remittance. In practice, none of these methods guarantee instant access to withdrawn funds. Cheque withdrawals naturally involve a waiting period for delivery and clearance. CHATS is relatively fast within Hong Kong’s banking hours, often same-day or next-day if the request is made in time, but it is not truly instant. Remittance times can vary depending on the receiving bank and whether you’re sending funds internationally or domestically. I have to highlight that, as with most regulated firms in Hong Kong, anti-money laundering checks and standard processing protocols also impact withdrawal speed. For me, the absence of instant digital wallet withdrawals or payment cards means I have to plan ahead when I wish to access funds. This may not suit traders who prioritize immediate liquidity, though it does reflect standard safety practices for regional, regulated financial firms. I find it vital that traders considering LUKFOOK’s platform weigh these practical settlement timelines against their individual liquidity needs.
