In my personal experience and after a careful review of CMF's account funding options, it is clear that depositing cryptocurrency—such as Bitcoin or USDT—into a CMF account is not possible. CMF restricts its deposit and withdrawal methods strictly to traditional banking channels: Bank Future Transfer, online banking transfer, and transactions at the bank counter. This limitation is quite significant if, like me, you prefer the versatility and speed of crypto funding that some international brokers offer. For context, the absence of crypto payment methods is often characteristic of brokers primarily serving regulated domestic markets, like China, where financial authorities take a conservative approach to digital assets. From a risk management perspective, I actually appreciate this conservative stance since regulation and traceability are prioritized over convenience, which can add to the perception of safety. However, I would caution anyone whose trading or investment process relies on the use of cryptocurrencies to look elsewhere, as CMF’s infrastructure simply does not accommodate digital assets at this time. For me, knowing exactly which funding methods are accepted is crucial for avoiding future inconvenience or fund transfer delays. If your preference is for crypto payments, it’s important to recognize that CMF’s banking-only system does not meet that need.
